牙周病是口腔疾病中与ECM成份较为密切的又一种疾病,目前最受人们关注的是以胶原为基质的生物膜在牙周病治疗中的作用[12]。法国的相应产品已应用于临床。我国也有一些实验室正进行此方面的工作[13]。
与ECM有关的口腔疾病的研究目前发展较快,ECM的生化及分子生物学研究手段的发展及完善,为该领域研究的深入提供了可能。各类ECM成份的cDNA探针均可方便地移植到口腔ECM研究中,其成果必将推动口腔医学的发展。
